At Salient Wealth Planning, we distinguish ourselves by providing comprehensive personal financial planning for all of our clients.

We are seeking a full time Para-Planner/Associate Financial Advisor to add to our team. This team member will be assisting financial advisors in multiple aspects of providing ongoing service to our clients, with an emphasis on delivering a unique client experience that defines and differentiates our practice.

This role provides client relationship support through interacting directly with our financial advisors, acting as a client liaison to help both answer questions as well as resolve issues, and perform other practice management tasks as needed. This position will also assist clients and financial advisors in managing, gathering and analyzing information pertaining to their finances and investments.

Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in regard to:
  • Client service, care and follow up
  • Prepare & process new business
  • Meeting preparation, data gathering and data entry
  • Prepare client correspondence
  • Follow-up with clients on to-do list items
  • Process client financial transactions
  • Other administrative and operational tasks
  • Work on new marketing and client acquisition strategies
  • Obtain financial licenses such as Series 7 and 66 in the first 6 months, if not already licensed.

Required Qualifications
Key Traits of a Successful Para-Planner/Associate Financial Advisor:
 
  • Financial Licenses such as Series 7, 66, Life & Health or the ability to get licensed quickly.
  • Prior experience in the financial industry preferred.
  • Positive, energetic attitude and sincere willingness to constantly learn and grow.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and a thorough knowledge and use of proper grammar, spelling and punctuation.
  • Maintains an exceptional level of attention to detail and quality of work.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and perform tasks/projects with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
