 Sunroad Asset
Management: Health & Wellness Coordinator - Full Time  

 

GENERAL FUNCTION: Under the direction of Sunroad
Multifamily the position's primary goal is to assist in the administration of
health & wellness programs for residents in accordance with the objectives
and policies.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:   

 
     
  • Manages
    all wellness programs including but not limited to coordinating fitness
    classes and programs, fitness assessments, equipment orientations,
    following new residents onboarding best practices, and special events.  
  •  
  • Reviews
    and evaluates the class attendance, program enrollment and services
    provided by the wellness department and communicates findings to their
    supervisor.  
  •  
  • Conducts
    wellness classes, programs and training for community residents   
  •  
  • Supervises
    the Wellness Center by being attentive to all participants to protect
    their safety. Knows and enforces facility rules and requires suitable
    conduct from participants at all times. Cleans fitness equipment and
    maintains the cleanliness of the wellness area.

  • Instructs
    residents and participants on safe exercise techniques including but not
    limited to warm-up and stretching progression, aerobic conditioning,
    strength training, proper use of Center equipment and workout progression.  
  •  
  • Conducts
    resident orientations within the allotted time frames and in accordance
    with guidelines presented. Maintains appropriate record keeping.  
  •  
  • Promotes
    and implements relationship building in all programming, training and
    supervision. Builds and maintains a high standard of customer service for
    all members.

  • Performs
    all other duties as assigned   
  •  
 

Qualifications  

 

To perform this job
successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the
knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  

 

EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's
degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years’
related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience.  

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES,
REGISTRATIONS:   

 
     
  • Certified
    Group Exercise Instructor  
  •  
  • Certified
    Personal Trainer  
  •  
  • Current
    CPR & First Aid Certification   
  •  
 

OTHER SKILLS and
ABILITIES:   

 
     
  • Educational
    background in fitness testing or exercise physiology (recommended).  
  •  
  • Visual
    and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and the physical
    ability to act swiftly in an emergency situation.  
  •  
  • Ability
    to adequately observe participant activities, enforces safety regulations,
    and applies appropriate management techniques.   
  •
