The Warranty Administrator is responsible for the submission, collection and correction of warranty claims. The Warranty Administrator will work to obtain the maximum amount of credit permitted within factory and manufacturer guidelines.
*Process warranty submissions and send to the factory for reimbursement
*Close all warranty claims each day with the business office using proper accounting practices and procedures
*Submit any corrections to accounting for outstanding/paid claims
*Maintain accurate records of claim submissions including dates, responses, payment history, etc.
*Ensure that credits are applied back to the warranty schedules
*Monitor and track the return of warranty parts to the factory and ensure that proper documentation exists
*Track factory responses for paid and/or rejected claims, follow-up as needed
*Notify department manager of any warranty adjustments or debits
*Assist with other projects or help out coworkers during busy times
*Prior experience working within the automotive industry is required
*Warranty experience is highly preferred
*Must be organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
*Should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment with different deadlines
