Job Description

Are you interested in supporting our Therapeutic Behavioral Services? (These programs provide community-based, in-home, behavioral services to at-risk youth and/or their families designed to address specific target and goals). Opportunities exist in the North County San Diego area and/ Riverside County areas, both of which are serviced by our Vista office. Caseloads are short term and most are  in the client's home (although may be at a New Haven home or in another facility).  Coaches are required to complete detailed clinical documentation of sessions and attend weekly supervisions at their base locations.  Schedules and assignments vary by client, are short term, revolving caseloads and require considerable driving (paid).    

In you have a BA degree (or higher) and some experience working with behaviors, this can be good opportunity for you to gain experience(and earn hours) if you have schedule flexibility (your status may be temporary or part time depending on the committed hours ).

Compensation:  $16 - $23/hour (DOE).

Skills/ Requirements
B.A. degree/M.A. in the related field is required and one year experience with children with serious emotional or behavioral problems is preferred. In addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to coach & counsel children and families, adherence to agency documentation and attendance standards, and this position requires a good driving record,  a clear criminal record (or ability to clear through CCL), and the successful completion of an agency physical (including drug testing).

Important Notes
Position is a clinically supervised experience, working varying hours (usually afternoon and evening) as scheduled and coordinated by agency. Cases throughout Riverside County. Weekly supervision requirements (two hours) through our Temecula Office. Great experience for professionals needing supervised hours!
