TECHEAD is looking to hire a Network Architect to be part of our growing FEDERAL division. This is a Three (2) Year contract on-site with our Federal Client. Must work well in a team environment. Be self-managed, and be able to communicate clearly on all operations. Excellent opportunity for US Armed Forces Reservist and recent US Vet. The selected qualified candidate will be responsible for providing services in connection with the Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN). NGEN is the acquisition approach designed to provide network services to support the Department of the Navy’s intranet system, one of the largest in the world. Must work well in a team environment. Network Architect with Five plus (5+) years of related experience. Should include both a strong business background and a core technical background. Under broad direction, blends the right combination of specializations to conceptualize, design and develop total system/product solutions for enterprise‐ wide information technology and/or engineering/manufacturing processes. Translates customer and organizational objectives and critical success factors into actionable business, organization and technology strategies. Creates information technology plans based on an understanding of the customer's organization, strategic direction, technology context and business needs. Leads and works in a collaborative effort to conceptualize total systems and/or product solutions. Architects, designs and develops integrated business/engineering systems and products to support the achievement of the customer's business goals. Leads others in the definition of project scope, plans and deliverables including cost projections and proposed implementation dates. Controls project requirements, scope and change management issues. Assists leadership in determining tactical and strategic direction of the division/organization. Works with others to develop and propose new business and technical opportunities to leadership and/or the customer. Researches, evaluates and stays current on emerging tools, techniques and technologies. Certified in accordance with DoD 8570.01‐M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level III.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field*
2-3 of the Following Certifications:
Certified Information System Auditor
Government Sponsored Enterprise
Sun Certified Network Administrator
GIAC Certified Incident Handler
Mandatory: Any of the following CISSP, CASP, CISA, GSE, SCNA
Salary: $125 to $135K
Clearance : SSBI - Single scope Background Investigation
